Essential Anatomy 5 App Reviews

I am a physical therapist who does a lot of patient education with anatomy and this is the GREATEST app I have ever used. It is completely user friendly and easily manipulate the anatomical parts to the exact position you want for clear view of the structure. Every PT should get this app to use in their clinic. So much better than anatomy textbooks or anatomy models.

This is a remarkable anatomy app. Its incredibly easy to use, yet reveals a plethora of visual structures - all with the ability to rotate, enlarge, and otherwise manipulate these images to your hearts content. Plus, there are icons you can press for further information, videos, etc. When I showed the Essential Anatomy App to my friend (an MD), he could barely put my iPad down, remarking that it was so addictive and the interactive images so glorious he could imagine spending hours exploring it for pure pleasure. My only wish is that 3D4Medical would consider veterinary apps as well, specifically for horses, dogs and cats. There is no animal anatomy app Im aware that comes even close to this companys breathtaking fidelity, brilliant imagery, broad scope and ease of use. Veterinarians and Vet students - please join me in letting 3D4Medical know there is a market for comparative anatomy software on this level!

I work in primary care and I like to use this story as an example of how simple this tool is to use. We had a patient with an injury to her psoas. The physician wasnt sure if the ileo-inguinal nerve travelled around the muscle or through it. We checked really quickly and discovered the nerve does travel directly through the muscle. Because of this, he also gave the patient a gabapentin rx for the nerve pain. :) Thanks for the awesome series of apps.

Awesome app! Definitely worth the money. I love how you can add or strip layers of muscle to see sites of attachment and how the muscles relate to each other. Best money ever spent on anatomy app.

This app is garbage . This app will not help you with any organs at all. No slice feature the brain is a joke . Do not buy this.

I really like this app! Is there a way to add a feature that allows us to quiz all of the pins we have selected. I like how we can study in bundles (digestive system, lymphatic, skeletal etc...) but I just wanted a little more customization for quizzes in-app. Currently I snap shot, and import the pictures to other flash card apps.

I caught this on a massive sale but its worth every cent!!

I am an orthopedic surgeon and recommend this program for all of my friends .. It is great !! You can navigate through different muscle planes exploring the different surgical approaches and what you are going to face ; a nerve a vessel or else .. Although regional versions of different joints are not that good !! But this one is one of a kind . Waiting for better professional version that we can cut and manipulate different tissues or may fixate fractures as preoperative planning method .. At that time I would buy that new app whatever it costs . Great Job .. Keep it ON .

This app has helped me so much in my anatomy class! Especially when I want to randomly study and forgot my notes I have this and it has so many things to learn not just bones and muscles! It has the veins, arteries, connective tissue, digestive system, and more! Helps me get a good Grade!
